Interpretation WARNING - don't fall into this accidental scripture twisting trap in ignorance!
Hebrew 4 Christians - a website that introduces Biblical Hebrew grammar so you can better understand the scriptures... Also check out the Hebrew Tenach books using all gifs and no fonts (nothing to download, nothing to install) currently underway on this website. Tool Tips: MISSION We believe it is important for everyone to read original texts: find out why translations fall short; avoid deception by cults with biased translations. This site is just a taste to get you hungry. Want to go further - check out our book suggestions. LEVEL OF LEARNING -- WHO ARE YOU? These are aimed at someone like me (Pia) - someone who is awful at learning languages! Don't feel bad - my family as a whole has never had a gift for them. I first began creating the language lessons at the end of 1999 as way to teach myself by breaking down the language into tiny bite-size pieces, and when the opportunity came, I quickly transferred the body of work to a Messianic site (MessianicArt.com) with a Rabbi for back-up. HeartofIsrael.org has 2 Rabbis who know Hebrew. Words (vocabulary), the alphabet study and general concepts come from some of books I recommended at the above link as well as the Biblical Hebrew dictionary within the Strong's Concordance. It lists about 8000 Hebrew words and about 5-6000 Greek ones. I also started volunteer teaching HTML to adults in a job-start program in a homeless shelter since 2000. With no teaching degree, I got a lot of on-the-job training! In the process, I have learnt a lot about how to make something as easy to learn as possible. Too many books out there sort of assume you're pretty good already and it's just not true! COMPUTER REQUIREMENTS You need a computer screen that can see good old regular gifs. If you want a public domain (not copyrighted) Hebrew and Greek font, you can download them FREE from: Crosswalk.com. Click HERE for keyboard help with those fonts. Greek Lessons 1-8, and answers 1-8 have been translated into gifs so you will not require a font, however, lessons 9-10 requires the free Greek font from Crosswalk.com - specifically the Macromedia Fontographer 4.1 8/1/98 version.
